The need for a clear focus.
It is critical to be clear about the purpose of organization so that those objectives can clearly focused on and to avoid dilution of efforts. These goals should be developed through discussion with all those involved and should be reviewed periodically to make sure that the goals are still the best goals for the organization and to see if the goals should be expanded or restricted or redirected depeneding on needs and resources.
Outlet for Odd Donations.
The need for an outlet for donations for outside of the scope of the organization.
Issues with running a mission.
One key issue seems to be how to limit the scope of predators and their predatory behaviour. Since missions attract people who are often struggling, especially with drug and alcohol abuse, drug dealers and other people who prey on the dependent are often also attracted to these facilities, both for financial as well as sexual or other personal reasons. How does one keep this kind of person away from the mission, so that clients can try to recover.
